We first encountered this tulip in the north of Holland some years ago, when it was quite new, and were intrigued by the unusual colour. At the time is was known as 'Quest' and the grower cut some flowers for us to bring home with us. We love it for its wonderful, tapered flowers, in a most unusual blend of copper-orange, flushed rose-mauve on the outside of the petals. The bonus of scent too! Flowering...
