Recent hybrid of great colour - the flowers are rich violet-blue - and vigour. Like many of the newer reticulata hybrids, this is of somewhat more robust appearance than many older varieties. The white flowers are quite substantial (in reticulata terms) and sport a neat flash of yellow on the falls. We had admired this stunning dwarf iris in displays in Holland for some years and were delighted when it became commercially available. This new introduction has cool white flowers, with a yellow streak and blue feathering on the falls. This splendid recent introduction has greater robustness and vigour than some older reticulata varieties. We have been growing its companion variety 'Blue Hill' for a couple of years now and have only neglected to stock 'Purple Hill' due to its similarity to the very popular Iris 'George'.
