Narcissus 'Lieke'
This pretty little jonquil is grown by a friend in Holland and is named after his daughter. Late flowering, it has white petals and a small lemon-green cup, with the good scent typical of its group.
The variety has won plaudits from 'Which Gardening' for its long flowering period (45 days recorded) and prolific flowering, producing 3 stems per bulb, each bearing 3 flowers. Height 14" (36cm).

Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus AGM (Pheasant’s Eye)
The Pheasant’s Eye narcissus. Slightly reflexed white petals surround a bright red edged yellow eye. Hardy, late flowering species, strongly scented & good for naturalising. Hybrids of poeticus are available but, to our minds, none has the elegance of this, the true species. Ht. 14-16" (35-40cm).
