Beautiful new variant of the much-loved Labyrinth. This lovely incarnation has the same informal shape of the original but the colour is a painterly blend of tones of lilac to near-white. Anemone flowered dahlias are wonderful for introducing a different form to border plantings, with their pretty foliage also making them good subjects for container plantings where some height is needed. This pretty collarette variety is a recent introduction and has been showing its paces in the recently concluded RHS Dahlia Trials at Wisley Garden. The lilac flowers have a darker heart, around an open centre to draw in pollinating insects. New for 2026 Striking new single-flowered dahlia which we spotted on trial in Holland a few years ago and is now commercially available. The reddish purple flowers have prettily pointed petals and the gold anthers at the flower centres are a lovely contrast as well as being a 'welcome mat' for pollinating insects. Pretty, ruffled flowers defy conventional dahlia categorisation and are all the more charming for it. The golden centres are an open invitation to pollinating insects and the colour of the petals range from deepest red-purple at the heart, through lighter shades of the same hue, to near white at the petal edges.
