Striking new single-flowered dahlia which we spotted on trial in Holland a few years ago and is now commercially available. The reddish purple flowers have prettily pointed petals and the gold anthers at the flower centres are a lovely contrast as well as being a 'welcome mat' for pollinating insects. The single forms of dahlia bring a natural appeal to plantings and a good new one is always a reason to celebrate.
