Dahlia 'All Directions' AGM

Dahlia 'Honka Dark' (Honka Black)
There is a suspicion that 'Honka Dark' and 'Verrone's Obsidian' may be one and the same. It will take DNA testing to reveal the truth but, in growing them on the nursery and in our borders over the last few years, we have not perceived any difference. So our choice to stock Honka Black has been made on the basis of price and better tubers.

And now for something completely different.......This could well be the marmite of the dahlia world but for us it is a wonderful addition to a hot or exotic border. Dahlia 'Mexican Star' (was Cosmos x dahlia 'Mexican Black')
An interesting hybrid, supposedly between chocolate cosmos and dahlia, this variety makes a bushy plant, with an elegant arching habit. It sports chocolate scented (and coloured!) single flowers. These tubers are produced using organic methods and are hand harvested.
