Dahlia 'Admiral Rawlings'
We have had this fine old variety in our private collection for many years, occasionally making plants available for visitors to the nursery. Now, we are able to offer it on a more commercial scale, although supply is still very limited. 'Admiral Rawlings' is a strong grower, producing far more height than most dahlias, and has beautiful decorative type blooms of rich purplish red, with darker tones...

Dahlia 'Babylon Paars' ('Babylon Purple')
The Babylon series of dahlias has many fans and we added this purple version to our range a couple of years ago. These dahlias are typified by very large, rather informal blooms, held on strong stems. 'Babylon Paars' is a particularly strong hue, which really grabs the attention in the border.

Dahlia 'Purple Fox'
When Verwer dahlias (breeders of many of the best known modern dahlias) decided to raise a ball series, it was a dead cert that something good would come out of it. This was the variety we chose to launch with and it didn't disappoint. Fast forward a few years and we have several other 'Fox' varieties available. All are great for cutting and outstanding of colour.

Dahlia 'Melissa Anna Marijke'
This lovely recent introduction follows a trend of breeders raising dahlias with flowers which have complementary colours on the top and underside of the petals. In this case, the petals sport pink-lilac & burgundy-purple hues and the plants themselves are petite enough to grow at the front of a border or in containers. Added bonus is dusky foliage.
