Strong growing white reticulatas can be hard to find, so all bets are on this charming new introduction. The white flowers are quite substantial (in reticulata terms) and sport a neat flash of yellow on the falls. Flowering in February/March at 6" (15cm).

This new introduction has cool white flowers, with a yellow streak and blue feathering on the falls. In the garden, where their early flowers are often seen against bare soil, we find that the lighter coloured irises show up really well. Flowering in February/March at 6" (15cm).

Iris reticulata 'Purple Hill'
This splendid recent introduction has greater robustness and vigour than some older reticulata varieties. We have been growing its companion variety 'Blue Hill' for a couple of years now and have only neglected to stock 'Purple Hill' due to its similarity to the very popular Iris 'George'. The sole grower of 'George' has experienced total crop failure last season, so we are now offering 'Purple Hill'...
