Crocus
Crocus are excellent for naturalising in borders or grassy areas, in average to well drained soil in sun or partial shade. We offer the early flowering, smaller botanical crocus, which flower from late winter into early spring. For even earlier blooms, choose crocus laevigatus fontenayi, which reliably produces its finely marked flowers from Christmas, often right through January.
Crocus angustifolius minor
Cloth-of-Gold crocus. The scented flowers are bright, golden yellow with dark mahogany feathering on the outside. They are distinctively narrow and tapered. Hardy corm for a sunny site & well-drained soil. Ht. 4” (10cm).
