Rarely seen spring flowering bulb with deep, dusky blue flowers, with a hint of turquoise in bud.  Similar to the grape hyacinth (to which family it was once assigned) and every bit as easy to grow, whilst not in the least invasive.  Hardy bulb for sun and well-drained soil.
