This handsome, deepest maroon-black variety is a sport of Queen of Night. New in 2024 Sadly, 'Picture' - the original 'Crown' tulip - is not currently available. We do have this new introduction though, a pink 'crown' tulip sporting a white base. Beautiful, charismatic tulip. The fringing is self-coloured but this colour changes subtly, both as the flower ages and in different qualities of light, producing shades of wine, from claret to burgundy.
