This enchanting decorative variety has flowers in a dreamy combination of lilac-pink and white. The number of petals varies markedly between individual flowers and the overall form is quite loose, resulting in a lovely, informal effect in the border. Long stems make it great for cutting also.

We have grown this anemone flowered variety on the nursery for a number of years, with its popularity earning it a regular place in our catalogue. Utterly beautiful introduction, with flowers of soft peach-pink, with a touch of lilac at the centre of the flowers before they open fully. Sure to be much in demand for both garden and cutting. A total crop failure a couple of years ago but stocks are being gradually recovered.

Dahlia 'Belfloor'
Flowers of vibrant rose are enlivened by a subtle hint of yellow at the base of each petal. We love the unusual shape of the flowers, which, with a delicious twist of the petals, have the desirable characteristic of perceived 'movement'. Really pretty new introduction, with upward facing flowers of informal shape. The colour is soft peach, highlighted by burgundy undertones at the flower centres and, more subtly, at the petal edges and undersides. The petals have 'movement' in their form, which adds to the enchantment.

Candy-striped flowers of pink & white combine beautifully with the near-black foliage. These little plants are just budding up and will produce blooms until the first frost. Dahlia 'Schneckenstein'

Here's one from the archives. Introduced in 1978 by Helmut Wolf in Germany (the name gives it away), this variety has passed the test of time, still gracing gardens across Europe to this day. The flowers are a lovely warm salmon pink and with the spiky form typical of semi-cactus dahlias. Excellent for both cutting and garden borders.

Dahlia 'Senior's Hope'
We love the unusual colour combination in the flowers of this striking variety. The petals of 'old' pink have a slight twist which reveals the cranberry undersides. It reminds us of antique velvet cushions - rich yet slightly faded (and very modern!). Despite being on the shorter side, it has proved immensely popular with cut flower growers as well as gardeners.
