When we spotted this colchicum flowering at Wisley some years ago, we noted it as a 'must have' for the future. The flowers are the richest rose-purple, with a white base. Slight chequering to the petals and a good, upright habit are further attributes. A stand-out variety, flowering Sept-October at 6" (15cm).
