‘Sweet Rocket’ produces long-flowering stems of lilac blooms, with wonderful evening fragrance. This is a plant which is so generous with its flowering that it can easily 'flower itself to death'. To prevent this, we stop the plants flowering before they can go to seed, which encourages the formation of a substantial plant in the second year, when a small amount of seed can be allowed to form as an insurance policy!.
