Description

Rare species, yet one of the easiest to grow. Similar to its close relative the crown imperial, but rather more subtle, with primrose-yellow flowers veined light green. Repays the initial investment well, flowering reliably and gaining in stature year-on-year. Hardy bulb for a sunny site with well-drained soil. Flowering early spring. Ht.20-30" (50-75cm).
