Fritillaria bucharica 'Nurek Giant' is very pretty, with lots of nodding, greenish white flowers (in extreme cases up to 30) that may be veined green and have pointed tepals, in a dense head. It is best grown where conditions are dry and sunny in summer (or grow under cover where it can be protected from rain and kept almost dry when dormant.) Spring flowering. Ht. to 2' (60cm).
