This delightful variety was one of the first of the new hybrids resulting from the breeding programme of Canadian iris breeder Alan McMurtrie to become commercially available. The remarkable flowers have white falls, with yellow crest and blue spotting, whilst the standards are white with two-tone blue streaking.
