Any new introduction to the 'Jowey' range of dahlias is worth a look and we had this one marked down as a 'must have' when we first saw it on trial in Holland. With new, imited, availability , we are delighted to offer it in our collection for this year. The blooms are a dramatic maroon-black, darker, with a hint of purple, at the centres, held on strong stems. Although classified as a ball dahlia, the flowers have a more 'open' form than other 'Joweys' which we offer. Fantastic for adding depth to border plantings and super for cutting also.
