Gorgeously rich recent introduction, with two-tone, red-purple flowers set off by sultry dark foliage. The surface of the petals is light red-purple, with a darker tone of aubergine on the underside and at the heart of the flowers. Modest height but very showy. Last year, it was one of the stand-out varieties on the nursery, as well as in our border and trough plantings.
