There is something especially pleasing about a well-formed ball dahlia (we have lost a few flowers on displays to visitors constantly patting them on their heads!). When the colour is as unique as this one, it is impossible to resist. The blooms are deepest burnt orange-red with a strong hint of chocolate, especially at the heart of the flower.
