We have had this fine old variety in our private collection for many years, occasionally making plants available for visitors to the nursery. Now, we are able to offer it on a more commercial scale, although supply is still very limited. 'Admiral Rawlings' is a strong grower, producing far more height than most dahlias, and has beautiful decorative type blooms of rich purplish red, with darker tones to the centre of the flowers. It is a fabulous candidate for the back of a border.
