This pretty collarette variety is a very recent introduction and has been showing its paces in the current RHS Dahlia Trials at Wisley Garden. The lilac flowers have a darker heart, around an open centre to draw in pollinating insects. The collarettes all have an easy charm about them, making them perfect for cottage garden plantings.
