Zantedeschia aethiopica South African arum lily. Handsome, arrow-shaped, shiny deep-green leaves set off the pure white flowering spathes, with golden-yellow spadix. Good beside water in a sunny position. Hardy if given a winter mulch of straw or bracken - or grow in a pot and bring under cover once it dies back. Flowers early-mid summer, 18-36”.
